Meet the Business Owner: Robert G.
Robert Goodman was born in the Bronx, but moved to California with more ambition than is even allowed on a domestic flight these days. With his formal education limited to the 6th grade, and his assets consisting of only the $500 in his pocket, it was up to his ambition, determination, and dedication to bring him into the light of success. The results of Robert's efforts soon became apparent as he became the vice president of a very large moving firm. In 1985, Goodman parted with his position at the moving company to bring a (500 square ft.) dream to life in Woodland Hills, CA; a dream which would soon be called "Box Brothers." From this store, Goodman began selling moving boxes and related supplies/services in a retail setting- something that had never been done prior.Today, with 30+ locations, Box Brothers' exponential and remarkable growth is undoubtedly the result of Goodman's unwavering dedication to his dream, his company, and most importantly, his customers.
